        This Privacy Policy explains how Multinet (“we”, “us”, “our”)
        collects, uses, discloses and protects information when you use the
        BSD (Business Sales Directory) mobile application
        (“BSD” or the “App”).


        The App is intended for use by Multinet’s sales team and other
        authorized personnel only.
      

1. About This App

BSD (Business Sales Directory) is a field sales enablement tool owned by Multinet. The App allows authorized sales team members to:

View potential and off-net customers on a map within a fixed radius (e.g. 1 km) of the user’s current location.
Visit potential customers and fill in forms to update customer information.
Add new customers by submitting a short form with customer details.
Filter and view only potential or off-net customers.
Switch between different Google Maps layers to assist in field work.

Use of the App is governed by this Privacy Policy and any internal policies of Multinet that apply to its employees and sales agents.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Location Information

To provide core functionality, the App collects and uses location data from your device.

Foreground Location

Collected when the App is open and in use, to:

Show customers within approximately 1 km of your current location.
Allow you to add or update customer locations accurately in the field.

Background Location

If permitted, the App may access location while running in the background (depending on your device settings and OS requirements) to:

Validate that visits and added customers are recorded from the field and near the actual customer location.
Maintain consistency of customer location data used for sales planning.

You can control location permissions in your device settings. However, disabling location services may limit or disable key features of the App, such as viewing nearby customers or validating new customer entries in the field.

2.2 Customer and Business Data

As part of your use of BSD, you may view, create or update data related to potential or off-net business customers, including:

Business name, category and contact details.
Business address and approximate location on the map.
Visit details, notes and form responses you submit.
Metadata about visits (e.g. date, time, user ID of the salesperson).

This information is used to maintain and improve Multinet’s internal sales directory and to support sales operations.

2.3 User Account and Usage Information

Depending on the configuration of the App, we may collect information such as:

Internal user identifiers or account details assigned by Multinet.
Role or team information (e.g. sales region or unit).
Basic usage information such as screens accessed, actions performed and timestamps, to monitor performance and improve functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected through BSD for the following purposes:

To provide and operate the App and its features (e.g. showing customers within a 1 km radius, adding/updating customer data).
To verify that new customer entries and visit updates are made from the field near the actual customer location.
To support internal sales operations, planning and performance monitoring.
To maintain and improve data quality in Multinet’s sales directory.
To maintain the security, integrity and performance of the App.
To comply with applicable legal obligations and internal compliance requirements.

4. Legal Basis (Where Applicable)

Where privacy or data protection laws (such as GDPR or similar regulations) apply, our legal bases for processing may include:

Legitimate interests – to operate and improve our sales tools and processes.
Performance of a contract or employment relationship – to provide tools that you are required or authorized to use as part of your role.
Compliance with legal obligations – where processing is required by law.
Consent – where explicitly required by law for certain types of processing, such as some forms of location tracking.

5. Location Permissions & Background Use

The App requires location permissions, including background location (where supported), to properly:

Display nearby potential and off-net customers on the map.
Confirm that new customer locations and visit updates are made on-site in the field.

We do not use your location data for consumer advertising or for selling location information to third parties. Location data is used solely in connection with Multinet’s internal business sales operations.

6. Sharing of Information

We may share information collected through BSD in the following circumstances:

Within Multinet: With internal teams that require access for sales operations, planning, support and management reporting.
Service providers: With third-party vendors who assist us in operating, hosting or maintaining the App and its backend systems, under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
Map and platform providers: The App uses services such as Google Maps and Google Play Services, which may collect certain information according to their own privacy policies.
Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.
Protection of rights: To protect the rights, property or safety of Multinet, our employees, users or others.

We do not sell personal information for marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain information collected through BSD for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and in accordance with Multinet’s internal data retention policies and any applicable legal requirements.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

BSD is a business application intended solely for use by Multinet’s sales team and other authorized personnel. It is not intended for use by minors or children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction and applicable laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as:

The right to access and review information we hold about you.
The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
The right to request deletion or restriction of certain processing, subject to legal and operational requirements.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements or other factors. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
